Erbil: The Emirati company "Dana Gas" has announced that its profits for the first nine months of this year reached $112 million, marking a 3% increase in production of oil, gas, and hydrocarbon derivatives from its gas fields in the Kurdistan Region. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company stated that the profit increase was driven by higher demand for gas from power plants in the region. This demand led to a rise in the company's daily production, which now stands at 38,200 barrels. Despite this boost in production, Dana Gas experienced an 11.3% decrease in profits compared to the same period last year. This decline is attributed to a reduction in both the volume and price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and other hydrocarbon products. In a related development, Dana Gas, in collaboration with other companies within the Pearl Petroleum alliance, is planning to initiate the development of the KM250 gas field located in the Kormor area.
