Abu al-khasib: Security forces arrested a dangerous suspect near a polling station in the Abu al-Khasib district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source stated, “A suspect wanted by the judiciary was attempting to cast his vote at a polling station in the Abu al-Khasib district. After being identified, he was arrested by security personnel at the polling station.”

The source added, “Upon hearing of the arrest, relatives of the suspect attempted to gather and cause a disturbance. Security forces fired shots into the air to disperse them and arrested several individuals without any injuries. Legal measures were taken against them.”

The source confirmed that the polling station remained open and was receiving citizens to cast their votes smoothly.
