Dar Al-Ma’mun Prepares for 27th Baghdad International Book Fair and 8th Translation Conference


Baghdad: Dar Al-Ma’mun for Translation and Publishing’s Board of Directors, led by Director General Ishraq Abdul-Adel, convened at their headquarters to strategize for the upcoming 8th Translation Conference in early October. The board also discussed their significant participation in the 27th Baghdad International Book Fair.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abdul-Adel evaluated the work of the committees responsible for the conference’s organization. She ensured that procedures are in place for a successful event, focusing on the scientific sessions’ research papers to boost the conference’s academic impact and quality.



The board highlighted Dar Al-Ma’mun’s role in the cultural and publishing sectors, preparing to display over 300 titles at the Baghdad International Book Fair. This participation aims to reinforce the publishing house’s presence and its contributions to translation and publishing.



The Director General stressed the importance of training courses and workshops to enhance employee skills and professional development. Additionally, the board explored using artificial intelligence tools to promote their publications and discussed technical aspects of their translated works, including books and journals.
