Death of Chief of Staff of Northern and Eastern Tigris Operations Command Due to Heart Attack


Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Authority has announced the passing of Ali Mahmoud Zain Al-Abidin Al-Amerli, the Chief of Staff of the Northern and Eastern Tigris Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces, who died following a heart attack.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Authority expressed sorrow and extended condolences in their obituary statement, highlighting the significant role Al-Amerli played. The statement noted that Al-Amerli was a dedicated figure in the defense of Iraq, recognized for his patient and courageous efforts. His contributions to the path of jihad and sacrifice are remembered as leaving a lasting impact.



The Authority concluded their statement by asking for divine mercy upon Al-Amerli and prayed for his placement in peaceful gardens among the righteous and martyrs. They extended their thoughts to his family, relatives, and loved ones, wishing them patience and comfort during this time of loss.
