Karbala: Mr. Jaafar Al-Moussawi, the former Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, passed away today at the age of 73 after a long battle with illness.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mr. Al-Moussawi dedicated many years of his life to serving the Holy Shrine, contributing significantly to its operations and management. His tenure as Secretary-General was marked by various initiatives aimed at enhancing the shrine’s facilities and services for pilgrims.
