Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 59,676 martyrs and 143,965 wounded.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Friday that hospitals in the Strip received 89 martyrs over the past 24 hours, including 9 whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble, and 467 wounded. The ministry noted that there are still many victims under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams.

The Ministry of Health further reported that the number of martyrs and wounded since the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18 has reached 8,527 martyrs and 31,924 wounded. It was also noted that the number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals reached 9 martyrs and more than 45 wounded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of livelihood victims who arrived at hospitals to 1,092 martyrs and 7,320 wounded.

The situation in Gaza has been further complicated since Israel resumed its aggression after violating the ceasefire agreement on March 18, following a two-month hiatus. The renewed aggression has targeted various areas of the Strip, which is facing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
