Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip has reached 61,020, as reported by the Ministry of Health in Gaza. The conflict, which intensified on October 7, 2023, has also resulted in 150,671 people being wounded.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Health released an official statement detailing that 87 bodies and 644 injured individuals have been brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours. The statement also highlighted the ongoing difficulties faced by rescue teams, with many victims still trapped under rubble and inaccessible areas.

The Ministry’s statement further reported that since the resumption of Israeli military operations on March 18, 2025, the death toll has reached 9,519, with 38,630 wounded. Within the last 24 hours alone, 52 deaths and 352 injuries have been recorded among aid beneficiaries, contributing to a total of 1,568 deaths and over 11,230 injuries received by hospitals.

Additionally, the health authorities noted that famine and malnutrition have claimed eight more lives in the past day, including a child and seven adults. This brings the total number of deaths due to famine and malnutrition to 188, with children accounting for 94 of these fatalities.
