Gaza strip: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has surged to 73,783, with 174,738 individuals wounded. This escalation in casualties has been reported since the conflict intensified on October 7, 2023.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, medical sources have indicated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 10 martyrs and 56 wounded individuals within the last 24 hours. The cumulative toll since a ceasefire was declared on October 11 has reached 1,369 martyrs and 4,627 injuries, with 831 bodies recovered so far.
Sources have further explained that many victims remain trapped under debris and in the streets, as ambulances and rescue teams are unable to access these areas. The situation is compounded by the escalation in hostilities, with Israeli occupation forces intensifying their raids and shelling on multiple targets within the Gaza Strip. This includes attacks on residential apartments, vehicles, and camps for displaced persons, leading to casualties among children, women, and entire families.
