Gaza City: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 52,908, with 119,721 individuals wounded since the onset of hostilities on October 7, 2023.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ongoing conflict has resulted in significant casualties, with local sources indicating that 2,780 individuals have died and 7,680 have been injured since March 18, when hostilities resumed after a ceasefire agreement.
In the last 24 hours alone, hospitals in Gaza received 46 deceased individuals, comprising 31 newly reported fatalities and 15 bodies that were recovered, in addition to 73 injured individuals.
Efforts to reach victims trapped under rubble and debris continue to face challenges, as ambulance and civil defense teams struggle to navigate war-torn areas.
