Deaths and Injuries in New Israeli Airstrikes on Lebanon

Beirut: Western media outlets reported casualties in early Monday morning following new Israeli airstrikes on several areas in Lebanon, while Hezbollah announced that its fighters clashed with an Israeli force. Hezbollah stated that its fighters engaged an Israeli force that had advanced towards the border town of Adaysah, using machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades, forcing it to retreat to the Khallat al-Mahafir area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hezbollah also announced that it targeted an Israeli army force that had advanced towards the town of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon with artillery fire. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes targeting the Hay al-Amrikan and Ghobeiri areas in Beirut's southern suburbs.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that three people were killed and 15 others wounded in an initial toll from an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Tyre in southern Lebanon. Israeli warplanes also launched airstrikes targeting the towns of Tyre, Jouya, Srifa, Qalawiya, and the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon.
