Baghdad:Defense Minister Nayef Makiyeh Al-Shammari and President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee Aqeel Muftin have engaged in discussions to explore ways to support military sports.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Defense issued a statement revealing that Minister Al-Shammari hosted Aqeel Muftin on Wednesday evening.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest, specifically focusing on strategies to bolster military sports activities and the sports sector in Iraq more broadly.
