Angry demonstrators burned tires today, Saturday, at Al-Thawra Bridge in the center of Hilla, to demand the dissolving the House of Representatives, the holding early parliamentary elections, and the accountability of those responsible for financial and administrative corruption cases.
NINA’s correspondent said, “Dozens of residents of Babylon Governorate demonstrated today, Saturday, at the intersection of Al-Thawra Bridge, to demand the dissolving the House of Representatives and holding early parliamentary elections.
The correspondent added that the demonstrators burned tires and cut off the road inside the city of Hilla, before the police intervened and opened the roads.
