Demonstrators in the city of Al-Suwaira, north of Wasit, cut the Baghdad-Kut road, in protest at the reduced hours of supplying electricity to citizens.
The demonstrators demanded the dismissal of the local government, with a call to the federal government to form an official committee to determine responsibility for the deterioration of services such as water, electricity, sewage, and roads
