Diyala: A security source revealed the results of the Khashm al-Ahmar Basin operation north of Diyala Governorate. A joint security force, under the supervision of the Diyala Operations Command, carried out a security operation from two axes on the administrative borders between Diyala and Salah al-Din, which resulted in the discovery of two ISIS hideouts, which were destroyed on site.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation comes within the strategy of the Diyala Operations Command to secure remote areas, prevent any activity of terrorist cells, and enhance the security and stability plan in the region.
