Deterrent Force Launches Extensive Security Operation in Gaza

Gaza: The "Deterrent" Force has initiated a wide-ranging security campaign across the Gaza Strip, arresting several individuals wanted for various offenses. The operation, which spanned multiple governorates, primarily targeted collaborators and outlaws.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the security operations led to the arrest of numerous individuals involved in criminal activities, including shootings, killings of displaced persons, and assaults on civilians. The force also managed to seize control of armed militia sites in Gaza City. Despite providing a deadline for voluntary surrender, some individuals refused to comply, prompting the force to act within the rules of engagement to maintain public safety and order.

In a related announcement, Hamas's "Ra'eda" platform confirmed the launch of the security operation, aimed at apprehending armed militia members and those collaborating with Israel during the conflict. The "Ra'eda" force, established in June 2025 by the resistance security in Gaza, focuses on combating chaos and addressing moral and security crimes. Their strategy includes direct interventions to eliminate negative influences and bolster internal security in the region. Since its inception, the force has conducted numerous operations, including field executions and targeted actions against suspected collaborators with the Israeli army.
