Dismantling a Network Involved in Criminal Operations and Arresting 7 Suspects

Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced the dismantling of a network involved in several criminal operations, the arrest of 7 suspects, and the liberation of a number of victims.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a press release: "The Anti-Human Trafficking Department in Baghdad's Karkh district dismantled a network consisting of 7 suspects and freed 5 victims who were being held captive by this network."

It added: "The operation came after obtaining judicial approval from the competent judge in the First Karkh Court, intensifying intelligence efforts, setting up a well-planned ambush for this network, and arresting its members in the act."
