Diwaniyah: A person was arrested for stealing cables in Diwaniyah. Diwaniyah police patrols arrested a thief of underground cables.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Diwaniyah police stated in a press release that "patrols, while on patrol late last night within their area of responsibility, arrested a man after he stole underground cables."

They added that "he was handed over to the Diwaniyah Criminal Investigation Department for proper investigation and to take the necessary legal action against him."
