Diyala: Diyala Governor Adnan Al-Shammari emphasized the necessity of joint coordination with Iran to ensure the uninterrupted entry of Arbaeen pilgrims. Al-Shammari expressed this during his visit to the Al-Mundhiriyah border crossing, located northeast of Baqubah, where he conducted a joint meeting with security, service departments, and relevant authorities to monitor the entry process of pilgrims and the services provided to them.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari also convened a meeting with the Iranian side, attended by Iranian Ambassador Mohammed Kadhem Al-Sadiq, to bolster joint coordination efforts and guarantee a seamless experience for pilgrims crossing the border.
