Diyala Governorate Welcomes Over 70 Lebanese Families Amid Conflict


DIYALA: Diyala Governorate has opened its doors to more than 70 Lebanese families over the past two weeks, marking a significant gesture of solidarity amid escalating regional tensions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, these families have found refuge in areas including Al-Khalis, Jadidat Al-Shatt, Kharnabat, Howider, and Al-Jizani. This initiative was coordinated by committees specifically formed to facilitate the reception of these Iraqi guests. The local communities in these areas have not only provided housing but also extended various forms of support to the Lebanese families who have been severely impacted by ongoing Zionist aggression.
