Diyala: Detachments from the Diyala Police’s Checkpoints and External Roads Affairs Department seized three trucks loaded with 57 tons of used iron prepared for illegal smuggling. Director of Media for the Diyala Police, Brigadier General Haitham Al-Shammari, informed that this operation is part of the broader security efforts aimed at preventing smuggling activities and safeguarding public resources.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the seizure of these trucks was achieved through the diligent work of the security forces, who are actively engaged in curbing smuggling operations. Brigadier General Al-Shammari emphasized that the Diyala Police Command remains committed to conducting security campaigns to monitor and prevent any unlawful activities. Legal actions have been initiated against those found in violation of the law.
