Diyala: A force from Diyala Police seized a truck loaded with large quantities of copper and aluminum prepared for smuggling.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Director of Media for Diyala Police, Brigadier General Haitham Al-Shammari, stated that a police force, through the security practice carried out on the Baghdad-Diyala road, seized a truck loaded with 30 tons of copper and aluminum prepared for smuggling to the Kurdistan Region.

He added that legal measures were taken against the truck driver and the seized materials were sent to detention centers.
