Diyala: Security forces in Diyala thwarted an attempt to smuggle nine foreigners into Baghdad. A security source told the Iraqi National News Agency (NINA) that security forces at a checkpoint seized a container truck containing nine people of various foreign nationalities who were hidden inside a false roof of the vehicle, en route to Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the source added that legal measures were taken against those involved, and they were referred to the relevant authorities to complete the investigation.
