Baghdad: Diyala Sports Club has announced the appointment of Tunisian coach Qais Al-Yaakoubi and his coaching staff to lead its football team in the upcoming season.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Firas Hamza, Secretary of Diyala Club, confirmed the official contract with Al-Yaakoubi. The club aims to enhance its performance in the upcoming competitions with the new leadership.

The coaching staff accompanying Al-Yaakoubi includes assistant coach Sabri Al-Kawash, goalkeeping coach Safwan Al-Haidari, fitness coach Rafiq Al-Waslati, and performance analyst Aman Allah Al-Saadani, all from Tunisia. Additionally, assistant coach Ali Abdullah from Iraq has been contracted to support the team.
