Baghdad: Diyala University and Ankara University explored potential avenues for enhancing academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation during an online meeting. The discussion included Diyala University President Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, the Assistant Dean of the College of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technology, and Ankara University Vice President Yusuf Kadioglu along with Cetin Rauf, who focuses on academic affairs, training, and international cooperation.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on establishing an institutional academic partnership between the two universities. Key areas of interest included research collaboration, knowledge exchange, training programs, and the potential for joint academic and cultural activities. The aim is to develop the skills of students, researchers, and faculty, while also broadening opportunities for international scientific communication.
Additionally, the discussions highlighted the necessary procedures for drafting a joint memorandum of understanding.
