Baghdad: The head of the Baghdad Provincial Council, Ammar al-Hamdani, has submitted a recommendation to the Prime Minister to dismiss the Director General of the Baghdad Electricity Distribution Company.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the recommendation suggests a significant administrative change within the electricity distribution sector. The proposal comes amidst ongoing discussions regarding the efficiency and management within the electricity distribution framework in Baghdad.
