Dollar Exchange Rate Falls Across Major Iraqi Cities

Baghdad: Today, the dollar saw a decrease in its exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar across three major cities in Iraq, including Baghdad, Basra, and Erbil. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the new exchange rates for the dollar are lower in comparison to previous figures. In Baghdad, the dollar is now selling at 152,800 dinars for $100. Basra reported a slightly lower rate of 152,700 dinars for the same amount. Meanwhile, Erbil recorded a selling rate of 153,000 dinars for $100. These changes in the dollar exchange rates are critical for businesses and investors who engage in trade and transactions involving the Iraqi dinar. The fluctuation in exchange rates can significantly impact economic activities in the region.
