Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar experienced a decline in Baghdad’s currency markets while maintaining stability in Erbil.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the exchange rate dropped at the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad, reaching 142,150 dinars per $100. This is a decrease from the previous rate of 142,350 dinars per $100 recorded on Sunday.
The selling price at Baghdad’s local market exchanges reached 143,250 dinars per $100, with the buying price at 141,250 dinars per $100.
In contrast, Erbil’s currency market showed stability. The dollar exchange rate remained at 143,400 dinars per $100 for selling and 141,500 dinars per $100 for buying.
