Dollar Exchange Rate Fluctuates in Baghdad and Erbil


Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate against the dinar experienced a rise in Baghdad’s local markets as the stock exchange closed on Saturday evening.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad reported an increase in the dollar exchange rate, reaching 141,550 dinars per $100, up from the morning rate of 141,450 dinars. Local market rates in Baghdad showed the dollar being sold at 142,500 dinars and purchased at 140,500 dinars per $100.



In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, the dollar exchange rate saw a decline. The selling price of the dollar in Erbil fell to 141,400 dinars, while the buying price was 141,300 dinars per $100.
