Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate experienced an increase in both Baghdad and Erbil markets as the stock exchanges opened on Monday morning.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad started the day with a rate of 140,200 dinars per $100, marking a rise from the previous day’s rate of 139,850 dinars. In the local markets of the capital, exchange offices recorded a selling price of 141,250 dinars per $100 and a buying price of 139,250 dinars.
In Erbil, the dollar also witnessed an increase, with the selling price reaching 141,300 dinars per $100 and the buying price standing at 140,300 dinars.
