Dollar Exchange Rate Remains Stable Across Baghdad and Erbil Markets

Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate stabilized in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil governorates on Monday. The stability in the exchange rate reflects a consistency in the local financial landscape, as observed in the recent trading sessions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the dollar exchange rate held steady at 139,250 Iraqi dinars per $100 on Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad, maintaining the same rate as recorded yesterday evening. This consistency in the exchange rate indicates a level of balance in the local currency market.

Furthermore, the selling price at exchange shops in local Baghdad markets remained stable at 140,250 Iraqi dinars per $100. This stability is mirrored in Erbil, where the dollar exchange rate was recorded at 140,300 Iraqi dinars per $100 for sale, and 139,000 Iraqi dinars per $100 for purchase. The unchanged rates in both Baghdad and Erbil suggest a period of financial steadiness in the region’s currency exchanges.
