Dollar Exchange Rate Stabilizes in Baghdad Markets


Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate stabilized in Baghdad’s markets with the closing of the stock exchange. The dollar exchange rate remained steady at 141,300 dinars per $100 at the close of Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges, maintaining the same rates recorded earlier in the day.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the selling price at stock exchanges in local markets across Baghdad also showed stability, with the selling price reaching 142,250 dinars per $100, and the buying price standing at 140,250 dinars per $100.



In contrast, Erbil experienced a slight increase in the dollar’s value, with the selling price reaching 141,100 dinars per $100, while the buying price was recorded at 141,000 dinars per $100.
