Dollar Prices Fall as Stock Markets Close in Baghdad


Baghdad: The exchange rate of the US dollar fell in Baghdad markets on Tuesday as trading closed. The dollar declined in the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad, reaching 153,900 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars, after having reached 155,500 dinars per 100 US dollars earlier in the day.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the selling price at currency exchange shops in Baghdad’s local markets also decreased, reaching 154,500 dinars per 100 US dollars, while the buying price was 153,500 dinars per 100 US dollars.



In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, the dollar also fell, with the selling price reaching 153,650 dinars per 100 US dollars, while the buying price was 153,550 dinars per 100 US dollars.
