Dollar’s Price Decline in Baghdad as Market Closes While Stability Observed in Erbil

Baghdad: The exchange rate of the US dollar experienced a decline against the Iraqi dinar in Baghdad's local markets as trading concluded on Saturday evening.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the dollar's value in Baghdad's Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges dropped to 142,650 dinars per 100 dollars, compared to an earlier rate of 142,900 dinars per 100 dollars earlier in the day. Additionally, in local exchange shops within Baghdad, the dollar's selling and buying rates also decreased, with the selling price reaching 143,000 dinars per 100 dollars and the buying price standing at 142,000 dinars per 100 dollars.

In contrast, Erbil's market remained stable, with the dollar selling at 141,700 dinars per 100 dollars and buying at 141,500 dinars per 100 dollars.
