Tel Aviv: The Israeli media announced on Sunday that dozens were killed and hundreds injured as a result of Iranian missile strikes targeting a number of sites inside Israel.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attacks resulted in widespread destruction of infrastructure and caused panic among the population, as air defense systems failed to intercept a number of missiles.

The Iranian armed forces launched a new batch of missiles in the early hours of Sunday towards the Palestinian territories, targeting Israel, in response to its ongoing aggression against Iran since dawn on Friday.
