Dozens Of Foreigners Arrested For Violating Residency Conditions In Baghdad

Baghdad The Directorate of Residence Affairs arrested, today, Wednesday, 30 foreigners for violating the residence law in Baghdad.

A statement by the Directorate stated that its detachments arrested the violators, after receiving information about the presence of foreigners of different nationalities violating the residence law and after forming a working team headed by the Directorate of Residence Affairs and detachments from the National Intelligence Service and the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency, as well as the land holding force.

The statement added: “The necessary legal measures will be taken for the purpose of deporting them outside Iraq in accordance with the Residence Law No. 76 of 2017.
