Baghdad  The Minister of Youth and Sports, Adnan Darjal, received the delegation of the national football team after its arrival in the capital, Baghdad, after its long journey from South Korea.

Minister Darjal praised the team’s performance against South Korea, calling on the players to win their next match in the decisive qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar against Iran, and to take firm steps towards the path of qualification.

The delegation of the national team will leave for the Qatari capital, Doha, today, in preparation for facing Iran next Tuesday at Khalifa International Stadium in the first group matches of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup.
