Sulaymaniyah: An informed source in the Penjwin area of Sulaymaniyah Governorate in the Kurdistan Region reported that a drone attack was launched on the border with Penjwin, targeting two people.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attack took place in the village of “Shewa Koizan” in the Karmak subdistrict of Penjwin district in Sulaymaniyah Governorate. The source noted that the incident involved two individuals riding a motorcycle, resulting in one fatality and one injury.

The source further explained that it remains unclear if the victims were civilians, despite them wearing civilian clothes. The situation continues to be under investigation to determine the identities and affiliations of those targeted.
