Babylon: The Ministry of Defense announced today that intelligence and security detachments in Babylon have successfully apprehended drug and weapons dealers across various areas of the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were part of a qualitative operation carried out by detachments from the Babylon Intelligence and Security Directorate. The operation, which was based on accurate intelligence information, led to the capture of several drug dealers and traffickers, as well as a suspect involved in arms and ammunition trafficking.

The statement from the ministry highlighted that the arrests were made following the acquisition of necessary judicial approvals and the issuance of arrest warrants against the suspects.
