HILLA – A joint operation by the National Security Service and Babylon Police led to the arrest of a drug dealer in the Abu Gharq district, west of Hilla, on Sunday.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, A source from the joint force reported that the operation resulted in the capture of a drug dealer found in possession of over ten thousand narcotic pills, an unlicensed weapon, and a quantity of counterfeit foreign currency. The arrest was made during an ambush in the Abu Gharq district. Following the arrest, the accused was transferred to the competent authorities for further investigation. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and related criminal activities in the region.
