Tikrit: An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale struck 25 km northeast of Tikrit in Salah al-Din Governorate. The seismic event was recorded by the Ministry of Transport's observatories today.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the observatory reported that the tremor was felt by citizens in the area. However, there have been no reports of casualties following the earthquake.
