Baghdad: An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck the border region between Iraq and Iran. Seismic observatories recorded the epicenter deep within the border area.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, there have been no reports of casualties or damage so far, although the tremor was felt by residents in areas near the epicenter.
