Earthquake Recorded on Iraqi-Iranian Border


Baghdad: An earthquake measuring 3 degrees was recorded on the Iraqi-Iranian border, as announced by the Meteorological and Seismic Monitoring Authority. The seismic activity occurred approximately 15 kilometers north of the Penjwin District in the Kurdistan Region, affecting the local population.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the seismic observatories detected the earthquake, which was felt by nearby citizens to varying degrees. The Authority has advised residents to avoid false news and adhere to official instructions.
