Baghdad: The Minister of Education, Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri, met with Uday Hatem al-Issawi, head of the Iraqi Teachers Syndicate, to discuss preparations for the new academic year, along with issues concerning teachers and schools.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education reported that Minister al-Jubouri listened to the syndicate’s observations and proposals regarding the educational community’s needs. The discussions emphasized the importance of direct communication and addressing issues in line with the ministry’s plans and priorities.

The meeting included a review of several issues related to the educational process and explored ways to enhance cooperation between the ministry and the syndicate. Both parties discussed the follow-up on pending matters in the coming period, underscoring a commitment to improving the educational landscape.
