El gouna: The El Gouna Film Festival has announced the first ten films participating in its ninth edition, which will take place from October 15 to 23. The program focuses on family and identity issues and brings together works by prominent directors and emerging talents.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the selected films are Fatherland, Hold Onto Me, The Garden We Dreamed, Yellow Letters, Rose, The Guest, American Doctor, All of a Sudden, Queen at Sea, and Who Killed Alex Odeh? The list includes award-winning films from Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, Karlovy Vary, Malaga, and others. More films and events are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
