Baghdad: President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received congratulations from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of Iraq’s National Day. El-Sisi conveyed his greetings through a congratulatory cable, expressing pleasure in extending his sincere congratulations and best fraternal wishes to Rashid and the Iraqi people.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, El-Sisi highlighted the historical relations between Egypt and Iraq. He emphasized the constant keenness to advance and develop bilateral relations in many fields, which would benefit both countries and their peoples.
