Baghdad: The electoral campaign for the 2025 parliamentary elections officially began across Iraq today. The Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission made the decision for the campaign to commence.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the campaign start followed the approval of the lists of candidates eligible to participate in the elections. The Board of Commissioners had set Friday, October 3, 2025, as the official date for the campaign to begin, marking a significant step in the preparation for the upcoming elections.
