Baghdad: The Independent High Electoral Commission has announced that it forwarded 528 appeals concerning the election results to the judiciary for adjudication, out of a total of 872 appeals received.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the commission further explained that the judiciary has already dismissed 36 of these appeals. This decision comes as part of the ongoing process to ensure transparency and fairness in the electoral outcomes, which has seen significant scrutiny and numerous challenges. The commission’s actions reflect its commitment to addressing all concerns raised during the election process.
