Eleven People Killed and Injured in Traffic Accident in Babylon

Hillah: Eleven people were killed and injured in a traffic accident north of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate. Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, Director of Media for Babylon Traffic, stated: "A small passenger van overturned on the highway between Baghdad and Babylon, near the town of Musayyib, after the driver lost control due to falling asleep at the wheel. The accident resulted in the death of two passengers and injuries to nine others."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, police transported the injured to Hillah Surgical Hospital and opened an investigation into the accident.
