Tianjin: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that his country will continue to work in coordination with Pakistan to confront Israel’s attempts to expand its criminal policies and the genocidal actions it is committing in Gaza. This came during Erdogan’s meeting today with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit held in the eastern Chinese city of Tianjin.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate stated in a statement that Erdogan and Sharif discussed bilateral relations and regional and international issues during their meeting in the Chinese city of Tianjin. President Erdogan noted during the meeting that Turkey and Pakistan seek to enhance cooperation in many areas, especially trade, energy, defense industries, and security.

Regarding the genocide in Gaza, the Turkish President indicated that Israel seeks to expand its genocidal policy in Gaza, emphasizing that Turkey and Pakistan share the same stance in standing against the Israeli genocide in Gaza. Erdogan affirmed that Turkey will continue to work in coordination with Pakistan in confronting Israel’s efforts to expand its genocidal policies in Gaza.

In another context, Erdogan stressed that Syria’s territorial integrity is “indispensable” for Turkey, and that Ankara stands against any action aimed at creating chaos in Syria.
