Erdogan Arrives in Addis Ababa for Official Visit


Addis ababa: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, on Tuesday afternoon for a one-day official visit. He was welcomed at the airport by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Foreign Minister Gideon Timotheos, and the Turkish Ambassador to Addis Ababa, Berk Baran.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan is scheduled to engage in bilateral talks with the Ethiopian Prime Minister, followed by a meeting at the delegation level. The leaders will then oversee a signing ceremony for agreements between Turkey and Ethiopia. Erdogan and Abiy Ahmed are expected to hold a joint press conference before Erdogan wraps up his visit.
